Oregon Solidarity | You Can Believe in Oregon Wine
Oregon wine. Much more than an industry, it's a community. When tragedy strikes, Oregon winemakers come together -- whether it's to share equipment when gear breaks down, or to help a winery finish the season when a colleague suddenly passes away.
Last fall, a crisis of epic proportion hit Rogue Valley winegrowers. Right before harvest, a large California winery suddenly canceled millions of dollars in grape contracts. The reasons why are, well, murky (and likely to be tied up in court.)
But grapes don't wait for lawyers. So, four Oregon wineries --King Estate, Eyrie Vineyards, Willamette Valley Vineyards and Sylvan Ridge Winery -- came to the rescue of these winegrowers, bought all the grapes, and collaborated to produce three wines: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Rosé of Pinot Noir.
The project name? Oregon Solidarity.
That's Oregon wine. When a crisis hits, we come together in Solidarity.
Cellar 503 and The Oregonian are proud to support the Oregon Solidarity wine project and the winegrowers of Southern Oregon by offering a special two-pack of Solidarity wines. You'll get one Rosé and one Pinot Noir for $59.99. Order yours right now!
