Valentine's Day is extra-special here in Oregon. Not only is it the day we celebrate the people we love, but February 14 is also Oregon's birthday!

This month's shipment gives us the opportunity to celebrate both our love for wine and our love for Oregon.

Our two reds this month are the Seven Bridges Winery Cabernet Sauvignon and the Upper Five Vineyard Tempranillo.

The Cabernet is smoky and earthy, with flavors of dark cherry, espresso, chocolate and leather -- a great bottle to open up early in the evening and enjoy all night long. The Tempranillo will lend some spice to your night. Spicy, fruity and medium-bodied, it is light enough to go with just about anything on your menu.

Our two whites this month are the Roots Wine Company Art Brut Outsider Cuvee and the Hanson Vineyard Pinot Blanc.

The Roots sparkling wine is a perfect example of a traditional champagne-style wine kicked up a notch with Oregon grapes and attitude. The Pinot Blanc has aromas of almonds, lime, pear and fresh cut herbs balanced with snappy acidity. It'll pair beautifully with any of Oregon's amazing seafood.
