Winter Warmers
January 2020
Wow—5 years! This month marks Cellar 503’s fifth anniversary. I am so thrilled with the warm welcome we continue to receive from the Oregon wine industry and the support that all our members continue to show us. My dream of sharing unique, hand-crafted wines from small wineries all over the state has really become a reality.
It’s also the season of chilly days and even colder nights. Whether you’ve got feet of snow, chilly rain, or crisp, cool blue skies outside your window, you can always use some winter wines to help warm you up! Big, bold and spicy red wines like the Nevbbiolo (our first!) from Watermill Winery and the Cabernet Franc-heavy Red Blend from Jackalope Wine Cellars -- as well as luscious, full-bodied whites like Ridgecrest Winery’s Gruner Veltliner and Winter’s Hill Pinot Blanc will keep you going all winter long.
These “winter warmers” will be perfect during long, cold winter nights and are also perfect for sharing with your friends and family.
I hope you’ll enjoy these wines as much as we do.
