Winter Warmers
January 2021
I don’t know about you, but I am looking forward to brighter days ahead in 2021. It’s still cold out, and rainy, and maybe even snowy where you are. But each day there is a little more daylight and a sense that there are better days ahead of us.
There will definitely be some chilly days and even colder nights ahead in the next few months. Whether you’ve got feet of snow, chilly rain, or crisp, cool blue skies outside your window, you can always use some winter wines to help warm you up! These “winter warmers” will be perfect during long, cold winter nights.
Our first red is a Malbec from Portland urban winery, Seven Bridges. Our second red is a Cabernet Sauvignon from our friends at William Marie Wines. Both of these big, bold red wines will keep you warm on a cold winter night.
Our first white is a Blanc de Noirs (or white Pinot Noir) from club favorite, J. Scott Cellars. And our second white is a Sauvignon Blanc from one of our very first winery partners, Kriselle Cellars. Both are deeply flavored, characterful white wines.
Happy New Year!
