Gratitude
November 2024
This time of year, we’re counting our blessings. One major one is the fact that we live in a state with about as many wine regions as there are days in an advent calendar. Oregon has a rich history dating back to 1847. At our best count the state produces over 70 grape varieties commercially. If you like wine, it’s hard to imagine a better place.
Another is the amazing community we have both near and far that support small lot expressions from across Oregon. Selecting these wines and representing these winemakers is an honor. This month we focused on two families in the Willamette Valley, in neighboring micro-AVA's. Showcasing in November some of the most celebrated grape varieties that put Oregon on the map as a world class wine region - our tasting panels found these wines delightfully surprising examples and we hope you will too.
We are grateful for you, dear member.
